Over the past year, LIVE! Technologies provided audio and video installation for OhioHealth’s Doctors Hospital building addition. The new $25.7 million two-story facility holds an expanded emergency department on the first floor, and a state-of-the-art medical education center on the second floor.  LIVE!’s Systems Integration team installed Sharp LCD screens, projectors, Crestron control panels, wireless microphones, and video cameras. LIVE! sent their own certified installation technicians to provide in-service training for OhioHealth’s associates.  David Bertchi, from Ohio Health, feels the Crestron control pad will make utilizing the equipment easier for the entire staff. His favorite feature is the ability of the central computer to understand the conference room setup so when air walls are dropped, opening up the rooms for more space, the computer knows which projection screen to let down. The educational instructors at OhioHealth love the benefits of having advanced technological tools for teaching, like sending live video of what’s going on in the anatomical room to all the multi-disciplinary classrooms. Students can watch procedures from different rooms, while the video can be recorded and made into DVDs.
