Columbus, Ohio - October 20th, 2011 – Nominated for the second year in a row, LIVE!  Technologies received the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s 2011 Community Arts Partnership Award.  This award recognizes outstanding support of local arts in the past year.  LIVE! Technologies was nominated in 2010 by BalletMet, and won this year after being nominated by the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
Award recipients were announced at GCAC’s annual Community Arts Partnership Awards luncheon on Thursday, October 20th at COSI Columbus.

In a first of many new equipment upgrades, LIVE! Technologies selected the award winning Martin Mac III Performance fixture. This automated lighting fixture incorporates a new interleaved framing system with full crossover of each blade, and industry-first continuous rotation for new and unlimited projection, framing, and effects possibilities.

Through our relationship with Martin Professional, LIVE! Technologies will offer clients a fantastic product range, which includes a full complement of Martin automated lighting fixtures, LED creative lighting and video products, and playback/control solutions.

For over a dozen years, LIVE! Technologies has been the City of Dublin’s resource and partner for their annual Irish Festival.  This year, nearly 100, 000 people celebrated their Celtic culture, over three days, at Coffman Park in Dublin, Ohio.  With 60 acts across 7 stages, the City of Dublin trusts LIVE! Technologies to supply and mange all their audio and lighting requirements.  Whether classic Irish Folk, Irish dancing or Pipe & Drum bands, LIVE! takes pride in delivering the best audio and lighting for this nationally recognized celebration!

The Columbus Symphony Orchestra’s Picnic With The Pops summer concert series has been a local favorite for 25 years. The event takes place on the Chemical Abstract Services lawn where friends and family gather to picnic and enjoy the musical performances. This year, LIVE! Technologies provided audio, video, and lighting for the annual summer event. LIVE! understands the needs of the performers and the audience. This season the concert series had eleven performances, special guests included: The Ohio State Marching Band, Kansas, and Peter Cetera. LIVE! Technologies is proud to partner with CSO not only for Picnic With The Pops, but throughout the year on multiple events.

The Arnold Sports Festival is one of the largest multi-sport events in the world. Athletic competitions, including 37 sports and 17,000 athletes, take place over three days in Columbus, Ohio. For more than 20 years, this sport-fitness festival has grown to include activities located at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Veteran’s Memorial, and the Ohio State Fairgrounds.

LIVE! Technologies has been the festival’s professional event services provider for over a decade. Each year, a masterfully designed set is built to enhance the competition on the Veteran’s Memorial Stage. Complete sound, lighting, and video packages are provided for the main bodybuilding competitions, as well as audio-visual support for numerous other sports and locations throughout the weekend. Along with event and equipment resources, our Creative Services department designs and develops video modules, event graphics and web design to complement the 3-day experience.

From supervising stage crews to a fully-staffed mobile television truck, LIVE!’s expertise in coordination and execution of such a large-scale weekend makes us the only choice for your next event or festival!

Each year, YWCA Columbus honors a select group of women with the Women of Achievement Award. This award recognizes women who are working to build a truly inclusive community, and honors their extraordinary contributions to family, philanthropy and business.

Over the past ten years, LIVE! Technologies has been the YWCA’s “turnkey” event staging and production company for the premier awards luncheon honoring these inspirational women.

LIVE! Technologies designs and constructs dynamic and visually motivating sets to compliment the message of the YWCA. Every year is new opportunity to showcase the latest in LIVE! Technologies’ innovative creative services and state-of-the-art equipment. This year, LIVE! transformed the Greater Columbus Convention Center into a multi-media showcase with Dataton WATCHOUT Display Software.

Additionally, an extensive lighting package was utilized for visual effects, as well as for television broadcast. Audio was professionally designed for optimum speech clarity throughout the hall, and feeds were sent to the mobile television truck provided by ONN. Video projection equipment was also provided for Image Magnification and video playback for the LIVE! audience.

Ancillary needs from the Convention Center are also coordinated by LIVE! Technologies. Final table layouts, load in schedules, rigging, and power were provided to the venue

LIVE! Technologies, understands the challenges of exceeding expectations, time after time. Our professional designers and technicians have mastered the art of innovation by producing corporate meetings, sales conferences, celebrations, and videos for Honda of America, Mfg.

LIVE! Technologies has been honored to be a part both the Honda Holiday Party and the Honda Family Day. Year after year, our contribution to the success of these events includes providing audio, lighting, video production, custom fabrications, and event management services.

LIVE! Technologies has also executed other various Honda projects such as the Element Line Off Press Conference held at the Honda East Liberty Plant, the Honda 25th Anniversary Dinner, and the Honda North American Bloc Event held at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom. And LIVE! Technologies has provided video editing and production for the R&D Division, including the HondaJet Introduction DVD.

Most recently, LIVE! Technologies produced Honda’s 2008 Supplier Conference, Honda’s 2008 Service Parts Conference, and LIVE! Technologies is proud to, again, be awarded the 2008 Honda Holiday Party.

Since the beginning, our co-founder, Dave Mead has been the man behind LIVE! Technologies involvement with Country Concert. For nearly 30 years, LIVE! has provided audio, video and lighting capabilities for this three-day festival. With a reputation of attracting celebrity performers like Kenny Chesney, Big & Rich, Keith Urban, Billy Ray Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, the event’s audio, video and lighting can only be trusted to LIVE!

LIVE! Technologies has been honored to produce Worthington Industries annual Sales Conference and Awards Ceremony for the past six years. Alternating locations between Columbus and various other cities, LIVE! Technologies has worked closely with Worthington Industries from venue selection, advancement, event content, and production schedules to all other technical details.

LIVE! Technologies has provided complete audio, lighting, and video supplementation for conferences’ General Session, as well as multiple breakout rooms. Dynamic stage sets are developed and constructed by our innovative design team.

Digital media services have included event graphics, 3D renderings, and CAD layouts, as well as utilizing Macromedia Flash, lower thirds and transitions to provide a seamless, visual presentation that matches each year’s event theme and script.

Additionally, LIVE! Technologies has produced various video modules. Whether shot in an office building or an airplane hangar, the Creative Services department has produced logistically challenging videos, regardless of location. These videos inspire, educate and motivate Worthington Industries Associates, each year!

With corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, outside of fashion capitals like New York, London and Paris, Express needed to stay connected to their satellite offices.  LIVE! designed and installed video and teleconferencing in boardrooms and conference rooms with full control systems for remote programming.  Additional, attention was given to creating a fashion-forward atmosphere with unique, retail lighting and advanced audio systems.
