LIVE! Technologies Scores With The Morning Sports Report

Columbus, Ohio – LIVE! Technologies proudly produced the 7th Annual Morning Sports Report for The Greater Columbus Sports Commission and Experience Columbus. This year’s event not only gave the inside scoop on the Columbus sports scene, but also honored all of  the living Heisman Trophy winners from The Ohio State University. This  first-ever reunion included Archie Griffin, Howard “Hopalong” Cassady, Eddie George, and Troy Smith.

When LIVE! was asked to produce the event, their Creative Services department realized this was an excellent opportunity to develop a multi-media set.  The look and feel of the scenic design invoked a polished sports studio.  The rear screen reflected the sport venues and institutions famous in Columbus. To create depth, eight monitors (suspended on truss) displayed images reflecting the local sports figures and their accomplishments. All the screens were seamlessly choreographed by LIVE! Technologies’ WATCHOUT system.  The WATCHOUT programs video, photos, Keynote presentations, and graphics into a flexible and dynamic display.

Along with the Heisman Trophy winners, Scott Arniel – Head Coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Ken Schnacke – President and General Manager of the Columbus Clippers, Mark McCullers – President and General Manager of the Columbus Crew, and Jim Tressel – Head Football Coach, of The Ohio State University were all featured panelists.

YWCA Women of Achievement

Each year, YWCA Columbus honors a select group of women with the Women of Achievement Award. This award recognizes women who are working to build a truly inclusive community, and honors their extraordinary contributions to family, philanthropy and business.

Over the past ten years, LIVE! Technologies has been the YWCA’s “turnkey” event staging and production company for the premier awards luncheon honoring these inspirational women.

LIVE! Technologies designs and constructs dynamic and visually motivating sets to compliment the message of the YWCA. Every year is new opportunity to showcase the latest in LIVE! Technologies’ innovative creative services and state-of-the-art equipment. This year, LIVE! transformed the Greater Columbus Convention Center into a multi-media showcase with Dataton WATCHOUT Display Software.

Additionally, an extensive lighting package was utilized for visual effects, as well as for television broadcast. Audio was professionally designed for optimum speech clarity throughout the hall, and feeds were sent to the mobile television truck provided by ONN. Video projection equipment was also provided for Image Magnification and video playback for the LIVE! audience.

Ancillary needs from the Convention Center are also coordinated by LIVE! Technologies. Final table layouts, load in schedules, rigging, and power were provided to the venue

Worthington Industries Sales Conference

LIVE! Technologies has been honored to produce Worthington Industries annual Sales Conference and Awards Ceremony for the past six years. Alternating locations between Columbus and various other cities, LIVE! Technologies has worked closely with Worthington Industries from venue selection, advancement, event content, and production schedules to all other technical details.

LIVE! Technologies has provided complete audio, lighting, and video supplementation for conferences’ General Session, as well as multiple breakout rooms. Dynamic stage sets are developed and constructed by our innovative design team.

Digital media services have included event graphics, 3D renderings, and CAD layouts, as well as utilizing Macromedia Flash, lower thirds and transitions to provide a seamless, visual presentation that matches each year’s event theme and script.

Additionally, LIVE! Technologies has produced various video modules. Whether shot in an office building or an airplane hangar, the Creative Services department has produced logistically challenging videos, regardless of location. These videos inspire, educate and motivate Worthington Industries Associates, each year!
