Paid Time Off (PTO)

We offer a generous amount of Paid Time Off (PTO) days per calendar year. Because we close for various holidays each year, several of the Standard Paid Time Off (SPTO) days are posted Company Holidays.
Company Retirement – 401(k) & Roth 401(k)

Our 401(k) and Roth 401(k) are open to new Associates on their 31st day of employment. The Company will match a percentage of your 401(k) pretax contributions. Entry Level Installation Technician

REPORTS TO: Project Manager
CLASS: Part-Time

TYPE: Hourly

PRIMARY ROLE

Responsible for assisting the installation team with the maintenance, and service of professional audio, video, control systems, professional lighting, and electronic equipment. The Associate is responsible in assisting in the completion of projects and following on the job direction and training. All work must meet the highest quality standards set forth by the Company, while assuring a professional and safe working environment.

Requirements

AV, security, or electrical installation experience or pursuing degree in related field.
Responsible for reading and understanding Systems Integration installation process.
Must understanding wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Custom fabrication and termination of cabling rack prep, multi-pins and electronic equipment racks as related to integration of professional, audio, video, lighting and computer controlled systems.
Responsible for knowledge and operation of the following test equipment: volt meter, ohm meter, oscilloscope, spectrum-analyzer, multi-meter, and impedance meter, general hand tools and an assortment of wall fasteners.
Assist with preventive maintenance of external and internal customer equipment.
Achieve basic understanding of Company software and work within software system on a day-to-day basis.
Work in a safe, positive manner showing respect to others and contributing to the team.
Fully comply with Company and customer safety programs. Accountability
The Associate will be accountable to the Project Manager, as well as accountability to the Service Shop Manager and other installation team members.

Physical Demands

In order to perform the essential functions of this job the Associate must have the ability to stand on a concrete floor for long periods and lift and/or move equipment at least 60-pounds on a repetitive basis. The candidate must be able to lift equipment and construction supplies from floor height to over-head while loading/unloading trucks or preparing equipment for installations, service calls, and events. Candidate must have the ability to climb and work (stack, adjust, and repair) at heights in excess of 25′ before/during installations and job sites.

POSITION: Graphic Design Internship – Summer 2014
DEPARTMENT: Creative Services
MAJOR/AREA OF STUDY: Advertising & Graphic Design
CLASS: Part-Time
TYPE: Hourly Paid Internship

PRIMARY ROLE
LIVE! Technologies LLC has developed an internship program to provide students with hands on real world experience relating to their area of study. During the course of the internship individuals will share in the creative process, learn valuable skills and complete assigned projects.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES AND KEY ARES OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Assist with of the development a 2014 marketing campaign material. This will involve
o Brainstorming with Creative Services team & third party company on how to bring the plan to life.
o Utilize Artistry and Technical skills to design materials.
• Training on multiple graphics software programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator Dreamweaver and InDesign.
• Assist in the updating and overall design of company pages on YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, Google+
• Design and creation of various print and web materials such as Newsletters and brochures.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong writing and communication abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Junior or Senior Level
• General working knowledge of the following software programs
o Mac OS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign and Illustrator.

TERMS OF INTERNSHIP
• Duration of internship will be for one Semester or 12-16 weeks.
• Interns will be scheduled for 8-12 hours per week; additional hours per week will be required during peak time of the year.
• LIVE! will provide a midterm and end term evaluation as required by the college in order for the student to receive full credit.

METORSHIP & REPORTING
The Intern will report to an assigned mentor with a secondary reporting to the Art Director of Creative Services.

PRIMARY ROLE
LIVE! Technologies LLC has developed an internship program to provide students with hands on real world experience relating to their area of study. During the course of the internship individuals will share in the creative process, learn valuable skills and complete assigned projects.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES AND KEY ARES OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Assist with the development and updating of a company demo reel.
• Assist in the Creation of highlight videos of client work.
• Learn to edit footage in Final Cut Pro.
• Learn to create motion graphics in After Effects.
• Training on the pre/post-production of internal and external video content (specifically Video shooting and Editing) for sales, promotion, meetings, events and other related projects.
• Video duplications and overview of video compression.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong writing and communication abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Junior or Senior Level
• General working knowledge of the following software programs
o Final Cut Pro or Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.

TERMS OF INTERNSHIP
• Duration of internship will be for one Semester or 12-16 weeks.
