About the Project
For their annual summit of store and district managers, LensCrafters wanted their training to stick. Retail employees are on their feet engaging with people all day, every day—so training needed to be centered on active, experiential learning.
We assisted LensCrafters to design and build out their vision of a “marketplace” of learning stations, in which participants learned about the coming year’s goals by taking part in games, puzzles, and interactive apps.
Participants were divided into groups, each given an iPad, and asked to solve problems created around the imperative of improving customer service. Teams worked together to solve problems while willingly learning a new approach to service.
